We are delighted to announce that Karl Apsel, member of the ITIA executive committee, was voted on to the executive committee of EULITA, the European Legal Interpreters and Translators Association on 29 June 2020 for a three-year term. With his very relevant background, Karl is well placed to make an excellent contribution at European level. 

Karl Apsel is a freelance translator (English – German), conference interpreter and Professional Member of the ITIA and the German translators’ and interpreters’ association (BDÜ). Karl has worked in the translation industry in Ireland since 1995 – as project manager for high profile translation projects as well as freelance translator – and is a conference interpreter trainer at National University of Ireland Galway.
