Calling all budding translators!
7th Annual ITIA Translation Competition for Secondary School Students.

Given the huge success of the competition over the past six years, the ITIA is once again organising this translation competition for secondary school students in Ireland.

Students are asked to translate an excerpt from a novel or short story from one of the following languages into English: Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese or Spanish.

A prize of €100 and a certificate will be awarded for the best translation in each language.

The deadline for receipt of your translation as a PDF is: 5 pm, Wednesday, 4 May 2022
